Components of the Worship Service:
With some variation the following are typically included in each Sunday worship service:
- Music
- Congregational hymns, choruses, and responses
- Traditional Doxology and Gloria Patri
- Anthem by Chancel Choir or Children’s Choir
- Organ or piano prelude, offertory, and postlude
- Prayers and Liturgy
- Scriptural Call to Worship
- Affirmation of Faith: The Apostle’s (or other) Creed
- Pastoral prayer and Lord’s Prayer
- Call to Prayer, Prayer of Confession, Assurance of Pardon
- Reading of Scripture and Congregational Response
- Benediction

The Children in Worship
- Adult-supervised nursery provided for infants and toddlers during the 11:00 AM worship service at TPC
- Children’s Sermon for preschool and elementary children
- Children’s Church – preschool and younger-elementary children leave the Sanctuary after Children’s Sermon for an age-appropriate Christian program downstairs on the ground floor
- Children’s Choir provides special music one Sunday each month of the school year
